in their Name power rankings. LINK

quote:

5. Dakota Slaughter, Alabama – First name is one of the 50 United States. Last name meaning to kill in a violent or brutal manner. Almost as good as Indiana Faithfull, but points off for being a bit terrifying. Even more so since he has no official bio photo or personal information listed on the ‘Bama website.

FYI Basketball practice starts tomorrow. Get amped!

I was like I know Releford is pretty damn good, but 5th in the nation.

@AlabamaHoops: Hard to believe that practice officially starts TOMORROW! We couldn't be more excited to get in the gym and get going! #RollTide

I figured we would have started today

Dakota actually made it pretty far in the NCAA tourney name brackets two seasons back. It's crazy because he was a Crimson Chaos leader with me and we would shoot hoops pregame and he would dunk and stuff. He had high school experience I do believe and people kept joking that he should try out for the team so he walked-on and boom, he's a part of the team now
