I know a lot of people who do that. My buddy's grandfather had his name anglicized when he went through the orphanage and he switched it back when he was in his 30s.

Unfortunately, my pronunciation, "Corey Leh-mun-WA", never caught on.

As I recall Carlo Cheattom played a couple of years having everyone call him Carlos before he finally corrected them.

Lemon-yay.

Lemon-a.

Lemon-aid.

Toomers.

Corey is doing it for Auburn!

This is nothing new guys. Corey has not changed the pronunciation of his name. When he committed to Auburn a few years ago on NSD he said it was Lem-ohn-yay. Apparently nobody in Auburn got the memo and he decided to not push the issue further.

Once I learned that it wasn't "lemon-ear," your pronunciation is what I thought it was. Not sure if I got it from you, but I support this pronunciation.
