Anyone know if they have Wi-Fi in the stadium? Making my first trip there this weekend. Thanks!

Why are you in Alabama for the Georgia game?

"Samford Stadium"

....is a quaint little stadium on a pretty campus on Lakeshore Parkway in suburban Birmingham.

I don't think so. Wi-fi is widespread on campus, but you have to have an ID, etc. The 3G/4G in the stadium sucks due to the volume of people trying to post on the SECrant simultaneously.

It sucks all over town on gameday, actually.

Interesting fun fact...

In last week's Athens Newspaper, there was a small article about some ongoing downtown development plans that involved upgrading infrastructure, including telecom, the municipality requested prints of all the utilities from everyone, the Power company, etc... but they couldn't get the telecom/fiber prints. Homeland Security denied them. Even though Homeland Security doesn't own them.

Makes you wonder.
