Was just talking with a guy from work about this... I wonder why the public was never really informed about the details of the investigation? I'm not a conspiracy kind of guy, but something always seemed off about this whole thing.
Anyone have any information to share, it seems like this has kind of been swept under the rug.

Kid had mental issues and access to guns. Lost it and decided to shoot up a bunch of kids.
What else is there to investigate?

It certainly seems that way. I would have liked to hear more about it.

A lot in my opinion, but maybe that is just me.

Exactly. It's not like they have to figure out who did it or have a trial for him.

Until you use an AR-15 Shotgun assault rifle

My hippie friend tried to show me youtube videos of how the parents at Sandy Hook were actors that were also actors in the Gabby Gifford shooting. Then he tried to show me videos of how the little girl that died in the Gabby Gifford isn't really dead and neither is Caylee Anthony and they were both hoaxes by the government to distract the public.
It was comical and I laughed in his face.

My favorite is when you watch a national news channel and they constantly use the terms semi automatic and automatic interchangeably as if they were the same thing
It leads people to think automatic weapons (a real assault rifle) is easily purchased at Walmart and the same thing as a semi auto
Idk ignorance about guns just bugs me for some reason, and those that are the most ignorant about them tend to be the most vocal

There were several press conferences during the investigation. What questions exactly are you looking for an answer on?
I think, like most of these tragedies, the American public just moves on eventually. Having a kid in 1st grade, I think about it every morning I drop my kids off at school.

My mom (and now my sister) works in a school and I've always worried about something happening

I guess just more details than he was a psycho with access to guns. Like if they found anything regarding why he chose an elementary school, what sent him overboard. Maybe it is just too horrific to make any real sense of.

I just don't think he left many clues or trail of any kind. The only human contact he really had was with his mom, whom he killed, so she couldn't provide any insight.
I seem to recall he had some connection to the school, but then I remember some of that being debunked. So not sure why he chose that school.

Yeah I remember hearing that he went there when he was younger, his mom was a teacher there, and that his mom volunteered at the school and spent time with the class he pretty much wiped out. I don't think any of that ended up being true.

Your mom is your sister too? That's mixed up.

I thought I heard that his mom was about to send him to an institution or something. Probably wrong.

I laugh at this. NRA has easily persuaded waay too many people about this. Everytime a shooting like this occurs, the result is a rush on purchasing guns because of the "threat" to repeal the 2nd amendment.
So, if someone "created" Sandy Hook, or the "media" tried to "push a gun control agenda", it certainly had the opposite effect.
