On 3/6 drives (not counting final one when trying to run out clock), LSU threw the ball more times than they ran it.
Interesting that these were the drives LSU scored TDs on, no?

After the second TD, LSU basically went into clock killing mode.

Honestly, it was about what I expected.

knew there wouldn't be a problem with Auburn's effort but I was kind of surprised this game didn't have some whacky turn of events.

I guess it rained hard enough...so there you go?

Neaux.

...ball was clearly touched before the white line, and thus didn't travel the necessary 10 yards.

We do.

And I would say the main fault of why this is still being discussed is because some LSU people continue to claim all LSU did was run up the middle to kill the clock in the second half when that is clearly not the case.

Even Les was disappointed in how the team "didn't finish." You win and you move on.

your a better disciplined team but don't have a good enough QB to run that offense.

We will see. I like to hope that the weather, the first road game and the fact that he is still learning the offense has more to do with his poor play at LSU than the fact that he can't be good enough.

There is no doubt that his poor throws to open receivers killed several drives in the first half and that a couple of really dumb interceptions in the second half snuffed out a comeback attempt.

On the bright side, a couple of really good deep balls kept us somewhat in the game.

You had LSU's defense whipped and tired in the fourth quarter.

LSU does not seem to have enough quality depth along the defensive front.

Georgia will be the true test next week.

That tends to happen after 80 plays. That tends to happen when you are scoring on 3 play drives.

A false start away from being a one score game with about a minute left with time to do a onside kick. But yea we are way too inconsistent and make stupid mistakes. We got a ways to go right now.

Ya'll could've scored on your last drive and got stuffed. Starters woke back up. Will be a battle at JH next year.

Auburn never gave up. Which they did under gene. Congrats. You really were outclassed talent wise though and it showed that your defense was scared of JC COPELAND and NEIGHBORS.

I can't believe there are posters that still believe this. He clearly touched the ball before it traveled 10 yards. Just because it was at 9.5 yards doesn't change the ruling.
