Call it luck, but your kicker needs to let the ball go 10 yards first. Nice play though, caught us sleeping.... And im not sure why

And TT, do you seriously believe we couldn't have gashed you for another TD in the 4th when we were running the clock out?
It's irrelevant at this point and no longer matters.

Auburn had a chance to win, period. Call it a moral victory, I don't care, but it'd be just asinine to say Auburn didn't have a chance. Ifs, buts, candy and nuts...but if Pat Miller doesn't false start when Auburn is inside the 5, we punch in a touchdown right there and have a chance at another onside kick (and we've proven we know how to get those when needed).

However, we lost, and good luck to LSU the rest of the way.

People saying you never gave up is like saying at 0-12 we did great because we never gave up.

Very accurate observation

in 2012, maybe

quote:

Call it a moral victory, I don't care, but it'd be just asinine to say Auburn didn't have a chance.

moral victory

quote:

Ifs, buts, candy and nuts...but if Pat Miller doesn't false start when Auburn is inside the 5, we punch in a touchdown right there and have a chance at another onside kick (and we've proven we know how to get those when needed).

and same as Terrance Magee fumbling inside the ten

quote:

However, we lost, and good luck to LSU the rest of the way.

And I'm so sick and tired of hearing that LSU took his foot off the gas

did you watch the game?

Both Les Miles and Jeremy Hill came out and said otherwise.

Would you expect Miles to come out and say we let off the gas cause we knew the game was over in the 2nd QTR?

If, if, if..........If LSU makes a first down on the fake FG and if we score a TD there or if we don't fake the FG and if we score 3 more there and if we recover the muffed punt inside the Auburn 15 yard line and if we score a TD there and if we don't put ourselves in 1st and 15 on three different occasions......I could go on.

If you're going to look at what all went against Auburn or what went for LSU also look at what went against LSU. It's called a balanced viewpoint.

Yeah, and are calling Les Miles and Jeremy Hill liars?

Since the game wasn't over in the second quarter, no. There's a reason teams play all 60 minutes.

Consisting a QB in his first start in TS, in the rain, y'all are definitely on the rise. No question about it.

I don't think it's so much playing the "if" game that AU fans are saying, at least I'm not. All I'm saying is it was going to take a near perfect effort out of AU to be able to walk away from that game with a W because the talent level and experience was so different. Instead, they shot themselves in the foot twice by fumbling on a drive where you were having success driving it down the field, and then following it up with a botched punt on the 5. Just saying that AU is not good enough to do that, and expect to win.

what? Auburn has out recruited LSU 2 of the last 4 cycles. The talent is pretty damn even.

Anyone acting like Auburn doesnt have talent is an idiot. Besides LSU lost a record number of Jrs to the draft. A lot of our experience left the team.

I watched the replay again and AU really was getting blown out the water all the way until that fake FG late in the 3rd quarter. I will say that y'all never gave up and won the 4th quarter for sure.
