Now that we have gray football and basketball jerseys, it is inevitable we see black spread to baseball

Black's not so bad.
I played high school baseball and we had black/red Nike alt jerseys. The black/red is a pretty good look IMO.

I loved our black baseball jerseys, wore them on Sundays at home I believe.
Most fans did like them from what I remember.

Black and Cool Gray are official school colors and have been used on unis for 20 years now, you probably weren't old enough to remember their absence on a uni used by the school.
