After the second shall we say less than impressive outing by Alabama's offensive line in the first three games, I am now legitimately concerned about this group. Sure they still have time to get better, but the performance three games in against what should have been an overmatched CSU defensive front has me worried. Alabama's new center Ryan Kelly does not look like he can handle any decent dlineman one on one at this point. This is causing Alabama to have to help with the guards in the center a lot and in my opinion is causing confusion and a domino effect up and down the line. Alabama's offensive line is struggling just trying to stand their ground with the opposing dline at this point, much less being able to get to the LBs on the next level which has been a staple of Alabama's run game the last few years.

What does Ole Miss have on the dline and the front seven, particularly in the interior? I've only seen the Vandy game and really wasn't paying that much attention.

In fact, I'll be surprised if this thread makes it to two pages.

If your center is having problems then Isaac Gross is going to have a big day

Isaac Gross will do this to your Center.

I should point out he's #94 and he's off the line before anyone on the O-Line knows WTF happened. He ate up two blocks.

He's only 256 lbs.

He will eat you.

Well, I am willing to say that it'll be the best D yall have faced, and it's getting better every week.

Gotta go out and play though.

Would you consider the strength run defense or pass defense? Are the corners any good playing man or will they need to keep safeties back and play zone?

I'm not convinced Alabama can run against 7-8 in the box like they have in the past. Going to have to pass to set up the run.

Our secondary has been patchwork and shitty so far.

Both starting corners are finally healthy, though, so we'll see how it goes.

I don't know that we'll be able to afford 7-8 in the box, but our DL might be able to handle it if your OL is really having as many issues as y'all say.

That GIF is awesome. Our D-Line is looking better every game. Our secondary is questionable but is also growing and learning. If our D shows up to play and hits hard, we have a good chance of hanging close.. They hit hard for sure though, just ask that punt returner from Texas.

Barrett Jones said he was one of the most hellish matchups he had last year.

Really good front seven...weakness is secondary, but that should be helped by getting Charles Sawyer back this week.
