Maybe Rutgers is at the cusp of doing some great things and Arkansas was the seminal moment in unleashing the beast. This could the start of their run to the top....Did you ever consider that?

espn had a pre game thing sat. where they showed several schools practices. ONe was from ark. I swear I could not tell a thing of what BB was barking out. Like he was slurring and grunting all his commands. What yuse guys have is a big old dumb lineman now converted into an SEC Corch.

To be fair, that 24-7 lead was a mirage (edited to reflect actual score...not that my earlier error was an incorrect statement in any way other than the actual number). They gifted it to us with bad mistakes in the first half. We had one legit drive the whole game. Our defense was absolutely gassed by the fourth after playing being on the field so long and it manifested itself in obvious ways once the momentum switched their way with the punt return TD.
We exactly what I thought we were: a good defensive line, decent offensive line, and pair of running backs away from being a truly bad team. They weren't afraid of our passing game starting in the first drive and it showed, with Brandon Allen things would have been different maybe but even with him we aren't very good. But hey, we are better than several first year coached teams around here.

FWIW I think Brett will be ok after he settles in. Lets not forget even lord Saban lost to Louisiana Monroe his first year.

I attended the game. A couple of observations fwiw: Arky's flea flicker and fake punt were executed flawlessly. The pick six was a gimme. When Gary Nova is good, he is very good. One of the best comebacks I have ever seen in CFB. Rutgers was the better team.
