I know the raw numbers, but who is perceived by the student body, alumni and fans of each sec school as their greatest and most beloved coach.....particularly wondering about LSU, Florida and A&M

I'm gonna say Frank Broyles. He's definitely the greatest figure in the athletic department. His coaching tree is pretty spectacular, too. Lots of assistants went on to do great things.

Probably Jackie Sherrill for A&M.

Although Kevin Sumlin could very well be looked back upon with more fondness than any former Aggie coach when it's all said and done.

I would be interested in BAMA's response more.

In my lifetime, Mine would be Bill Arnsparger, Saban, Les Miles in no order

It's Cholly Mac for LSU

Miles will pass him at some point

IMO you have to be somewhere more than 5-6 years to be considered

Currently perceived - Bryant
Actual - Saban

And I hate admitting that.

There are plenty of ways to debate that. I'd be glad to be wrong.

Bear is probably still the clear leader at Bama, among alumni, strictly due to longevity. Students may see it differently
