Les is a former big12 coach, has done a really good job sustaining what Saban built.

He's flirted with leaving before (Michigan), he knows how hard is to win the SECW with Bama at the top and now TAMU is making huge strides. He knows how fickle the LSU fans are and knows they will turn on him in a heart beat, especially after Bama beats them again and wins BCS #3 in a row with no signs of slowing down.

He's never really built a program back up, so it would be A huge challenge for him. He'd have an easier path to the NC at Texas, than he does at LSU. Plus, Texas is perceived as a better job with more history than LSU.

If Texas comes calling would Les bolt for greener pastures?

Obviously, this is all predicated on Mack actually retiring/fired.

Is this hook even in the water?

It seems like it is caught in some bushes or something.

Keep yanking on it. You might need to just cut the line and start over, though.

I think Les is way too loosy goosey for Texas. And he did his pay raise interview with arky last year.

Doubt Texas would call but depending on how things play out they could. Doubt he'd leave though

Hopefully. His hijinks at middle tier LSU is funny...but can you imagine him at a top tier school. Amplify the things he says...

Naw. Would be a lateral move for CLM. Would be a huge upgrade for Saban though. Start a thread about that Johnny Flamer!

He probably wont because of his rep as a clown in some circles. Don't think he would fit in with the Texas crowd.

If Texas wants to win, they should approach les miles and Nick Saban. No one else compares right now.

No, they want someone that can win NC with his own players.

Well, you don't think UT would want Les? He's a pretty darn good coach and has done a very good job at LSU. Why not?
