Sure, they are the darlings of the college football world as of now, and did that at LSU's expense somewhat.

But, even those homer frickers should realize how razor thin the margin for error is between these two programs.

The Saban/Miles rivalry is the best coaching matchup bar none in college football today, and despite all the gump hype/love...it's only 4-3.

Lot's of unfinished business between these two, and in what may be construed as a 'homer' point of view, I truly like where LSU stands right now going forward.

This shite is about to take a turn in LSU's favor, without a doubt in my mind.

So please Nick, don't run off to Tejas just yet.

ok #1 he's not going to Texas or anywhere else. There's maybe a 1% chance he would try the NFL again but thats it

but that having been said #2 why wouldn't you want your rivals to lose good coaches

The SEC will likely do what it can to keep Saban behind the scenes. It does the league no good if Saban were to go to Austin and actually make that program unstoppable in a garbage league. The streak!

I love what this rivalry has become. It frustrates me when Bama fans hate on LSU/Les Miles. Because they offer a great rival that can be seen as our equal.

LSU has a lot to offer and when your a rival of that, you can share in those experiences. I think southern louisiana(south of BR) is one of the most gorgeous places in the country. The food is the best in the world. There is a uniqueness and charm that I really enjoy with LSU. Add in the football element and you really can't do anything but enjoy all of it.

I can see the LSU v Bama series to begin to overshadow the oSU/Michigan period that became known as the 10 year war.

Because I like playing Bama with Saban. It is great football. And if Saban leaves he's going to Dallas where he may make 15-20Mil a year. Jerry wants a Champion FAST!! and he's got the money to pay!

Lol. It won't happen. But if it ever did I'm sure the topic that followed would be over 1000 pages.
