The Colts have a shite load of faith in him to give away that much. And, I think I respect what the Colts say over the Browns. They appear to have jumped at this trade.

The Colts had faith in Vick Ballard and Donald Brown too, now.

No, I believe the browns traded him because they are the Cleveland Browns.

So do Bama RB prospects have the same issue as USC QB prospects under Pete Carrol did? Great surrounding cast that makes them appear better than they really are?
Probably. Though I think Trent will be an above average back no that he is on a team that is a threat to pass as well. The rest are pretty weak but Ingram was never very good to begin with.

lol he was twice as good as Ingram

Coffee had been “wrestling” with the decision for a while, he said in a Saturday interview. He said he came to the conclusion that God had another plan for him other than football, and leaving the sport “was just me doing what I should have done a long time ago.”
Coffee seems likely to enter the ministry or a similar career in the religious field, but said he won’t force it.

r a non LSU homer could mention that he plays for arguably one of if not the best passing team in the NFL with a first ballot hall of famer at QB.
And this differs from Ingram's situation how?

Saban and Bama be no good

I said there is no excuse for how bad Ingram has been

Trent left the "Mistake By the Lake" for a better OL...if sucks so hard why did the Browns trade a 1st rounder?
Now we just have to get Ingram away from the other "Mistake By the Lake"

As was already mentioned, the Browns traded the third overall pick into a pick in the 17-20 range. They got fleeced.

Trent Richardson-Very average. Almost any back in the NFL can average 3.5 ypc
Not any back could get 3.5 for the Browns. And teams don't give up first round picks in a trade for a "very average" back, and I think they know better than you

Reggie Bush sucked for the Saints and has done a good job elsewhere
Reggie Bush did not suck for the Saints
Reggie showed flashes of brilliance in New Orleans. He was a great blocker, a great receiver and actually changed games.
Ingram trips over his own feet, can't pick up a yard, tries to bounce the ball outside for some reason, and cost Brees the touchdown record

What am I missing? NFL Network had Browns new mang. on and they were saying they wanted to go in a new direction on the offensive side of the ball. They want to go with the fast pace no huddle spread style in the future. Trent does not match that style. Never once did he or anyone on tv say Trent was bad. They traded the only thing they had of value.

You're missing the part where no one argued any of the points you are making. So, to sum up, the entire argument.

What a retarded pick for an offense that throws the ball about 2039423455894 times a game.
Finished #6 in rushing in 2009 and 2011. Everyone on the team has been successful running the ball except Ingram, who we keep force feeding

Mark is a guy who needs carries to get going.
wouldn't want to be down 20-0 by the time he gets going. Reggie was a tougher runner than he is. He's led the team in carries the last 2 years and hasn't run well when getting 15+ carries

i believe the browns traded him because they are a terrible organization and are bound to suck forever. i would say the colts had faith in him, since they essentially redrafted him in the first round for next year.

Translation: I disagree with the Browns lack of faith in him as a player, but in no way believe that the Browns traded him because of their faith in him a player.

Eddie Lacy could have reversed the trend had Saban not lied about Lacy's concussion.
