Article about the screening…

quote:

The 44-minute film detailed Thomas’ life from his days as a troubled youth in Miami, to an All-America career at Alabama, to the Hall of Fame tenure with the Chiefs and to his tragic death, three weeks after an automobile accident left him paralyzed in 2000.

For Chiefs fans, the film was a visit to the mostly happy decade of the 1990s, when the regime of general manager Carl Peterson and coach Marty Schottenheimer reversed the sagging franchise.

The uncomfortable side of Thomas’ life wasn’t spared. Some of the mothers of Thomas’ children — and the children — are interviewed. Thomas had seven kids with five mothers. He never married.

It's premiering September 24th!

His son plays for Colorado State...

Article about that...

No idea on this either

They put LT in and he was arguably one of the worst human beings to ever play football

It is still an enigma how he isn't in the HOF

I don't think it had anything to do with character concerns. I think I read an explanation that the college HOF has a policy of not inducting players from the same university in back-to-back years. We've had a few hold-overs from the '70s get inducted in recent years and that's pushed DT back. The same thing happened with Tommie Frazier due to all the Nebraska inductees.
