I read where Sumlin says they may go the medical RS route with him this year. Lingering issues with the knee. Anyone else hear or read this?

Yes they are considering medical redshirt on him. No decision has been made to this point though.

I've heard the same thing. He's not staying all four years, so two good years out of him instead of 3 injury plagued ones might be the route to go.

20% of the games. He hasnt played in 20% of the 12. basically after playing in 3 games you cant. He hasnt played in all 3. Which mean they redshirt him Saturday or he plays all season, possibly hurt.

It is being mentioned. Most Ags were really surprised not to see him more against Bama and we didn't know why until finding out he apparently tweaked the knee in practice last week.

The guy is just a ridiculous talent, really hope he can get healthy.

Sumlin said is an interview that they may do that. He tried to go against Bama. They're thinking it might be more important to get him fully healthy. Sumlin does not generally like playing guys with lingering injuries; his philosophy is to sit them until they are fully healed.
