Depends...

Are you talking about PP as a sophomore in college? Or as an NFL player?

Considering Jeff Fuller torched Peterson in the Cotton Bowl, Mike would make probably make his arse quit.

Peterson completed a pass, caught a pass, played defense, and returns kicks on special teams. That was just in one game. But if were talking about college I'd still go with Peterson he was a freak. Not taking anything away from Evans he's a beast.

I hope you are kidding. He caught short comeback routes all day. That was just annoying. LSU gave us those, and ultimately they won the game on being able to pick off those comeback routes later in the game.

Jeff had 7 catches for 83 yards, with a long of 19. Peterson was supposed to be the greatest CB of all time, so i'd say Jeff won that battle, even though we lost the game.

Evans is six inches taller. Not many DBs can defend that.

Moral victory much?

Seriously, where was PP in April? Think it through. Your guy played a good game, but PP wasn't going to hurt his draft stock in a non-BCS bowl game. Fact.

Agree that PP is better than the ones you listed, but lets keep some perspective:

quote:

Cyrus Jones

First year as a cornerback, converted wide receiver. I will reserve judgment on him until at least the end of the year.

quote:

Belue

He was injured in the first half. Played with nagging injuries last year. Showed improvement toward the end of the year especially in the bcs game.

quote:

Fulton

Ill give you that one. He's terrible

I just didn't realize how inexperienced you guys were at DB. Outside of sunseri and HaHa

I think one of our best dbs (outside of HCD and Vinnie) is currently in Saban's doghouse. I think that Geno Smith will show that he is the real deal if/when he gets out of his own way. He has shown a ton of potential and did well in the BCS game.
