Bama's Defense - Go on the record!

After getting caught up in last week's game against the best player at QB EVER... Bama allowed some woeful yardage and points.
Lots of folks here since Saturday have said they believe our defense sucks. Raise your hand if you don't think Bama's defense will be a top 10 defense at the end of the year.
Me? I think we'll be top 5. So, I'll go out on a limb here.

86th ranked team defense at this point...sounds hard to break the Top 10.

I'd bet LOTS of money that we'll be top 10. I'd bet decent money we'll be top 5... now, this is after the whole season is over. We lost some ground on top 1-2 best defenses after this one gd game.

Offenses get better than defenses as the year goes on barring injuries.

Top 10, of course. Johnny will win the heisman again and he is the best college QB we will ever see. Bama's d can't be faulted for this. JFF will put 40 on LSU and we will see if their offense responds like Bamas.

Saban was saying yesterday they went with the older guys the 1st 2 games because they felt like they needed their experience on Defense. Said their jobs aren't safe and the younger guys will play more from this point.

you may be right but even if we are a top 20 D i think our offense will be stout the rest of the season...so we could give up some points and yards...jmo though
