First of all, having the lettering on a shirt be the same color as the fabric is just stupid. Absolutely stupid.

It's just Nike trying to make a buck. They probably make those for every team they represent regardless of any intention to actually have a black out game.

I won't even watch the game if we ever pull that bush league crap.

This. I would do my best to make a boycott of BDS happen should word get out that we're wearing black uniforms. Or I would just leave if we came out wearing them

ETA: I thought it was pretty disgusting to watch UCLA-Nebraska: two teams that used to have some of the best looking uniforms in the country play in shite.

RIP (I'm sure the Nebraska unis were a one-time thing, but still)

Don't want the team to ever wear them, but I like it. I might buy one.

It. Makes. No. Sense.

I get the "black shirts", but black is NOT one of their colors. That's what I hate about all of this. Schools that don't have black as an official color are using black uniforms. It's horrible

It's a standard color...their are teams who wear white away jerseys even though white isn't one of their 'official colors'.

I read that as the standard blurb that Nike attached to that piece of merchandise and sent to every team store.

Plus, I won't wear a TJ jersey til he apologizes to me in person. Guess it could double as an Eddie Jackson jersey though.

My bad, but If the fans don't like the blackout idea....don't wear it.

As far as the team wearing it, don't watch it/go to the game.

I just don't see how it's such a big deal. I'll actually look forward to such if the university is planning on doing it and not because I like the ploy just because it's different.
