TCU, UAB, Kent State? How much can you tell about a team when this is their opening slate? I would say Auburn is much more battle tested having faced Washington State, Arkansas State, Mississippi State, two of which are from BCS conferences

LSU opens as a 16.5 favorite but I say Auburn keeps it within a touchdown

TCU is better than State, ASU, and Wazzu

Georgia will be our first real test. Auburn is just another tune up game

I'll agree with you on a strictly talent basis.

There's no question that Auburn's roster contains more highly rated athletes coming out of high school than TCU.

Were I not a LSU homer, I'd be strongly tempted to bet on Auburn to cover. But after watching "Everybody's All American" as a kid, I never EVER bet against LSU.

Well seeing as TCU lost their starting QB in week 2, that's really going out on the limb.

What's Auburn got if Marshall goes down?

You mean the TCU that lost to Texas Tech Friday, that TCU?
