October 8, 1988 - The "Earthquake Game"
LSU 7 - Auburn 6
After a game winning TD, the crowd celebration registers on the campus earthquake monitor

Auburn returns three Jamie Howard interceptions for touchdowns in the fourth quarter and recovers a fumble in the end zone for a fourth score.

LSU 19 - Auburn 15
During the first half, an old wooden basketball gym adjacent to Jordan-Hare Stadium burns to the ground, sending flames and black smoke billowing into the air.

Auburn 41 - LSU 7
After a great win in Tiger Stadium...Coach Tuberdouche and his players decide to celebrate by lighting cigars on the field after the game.

After disrespectfully practicing FGs while the LSU band was still playing during halftime....Auburn kicker Damon Duval takes a shot from an LSU trombone player

September 18, 2004 - The "WTF WAS THAT?!?!" Game
Auburn 10 - LSU 9
Auburn ties the game with about 1 minute left....but misses the extra point. A penalty is called on LSU (a penalty that i had never seen before and have not seen since). Auburn gets to kick again and wins by one.

LSU 20 - Auburn 17
Auburn's John Vaughn misses 5 field goals...including one in overtime to extend the game.

Down by 1 with 14 seconds left...Flynn hits Byrd in the corner of the endzone as the clock rolls down to 1 second.

didn't someone post on here recently that games always register on the earthquake monitor? Not trying to take away from it, but seems like i read that.

There truly have been some phenomenal games over the years. Hopefully we can get back to our normal level and get things competitive again.

This weekend will be the 12th time in a row LSU has entered their game with Auburn ranked inside the top 10... pretty impressive the level of consistency coming out of BR.

I know some of you LSU fans hate talking about the 2006 game but that game deserves to be added. It really was a great defensive battle.
