"Oh how, Alabama running back T.J. Yeldon — he of the mocking "cash money" hand gesture and double throat slash following the touchdown that put the Tide up 28-14 — must have been shocked to see Manziel throw that 95-yard touchdown pass to Mike Evans that pulled A&M within 42-25 with 8:37 remaining."

He's...bragging about that?

He doesn't know how scores and game clocks work, does he?

There's a lot wrong with that article, but the "taunt happy" comment is right on. Alabama displays worst sportsmanship in college football. Taunting is part of their style.

Wow, the author had a good premise (Manziel acquitted himself well and probably silenced some haters with his play and post game comments) but terrible approach. Made him come off like a whiny little bitch. And this line is just awful:

quote:

He lost the game and managed to move himself and his school up in all the big trophy races.

The three biggest trophies A&M was eyeing coming into Saturday - the West, the SEC, and NC are all much less likely now.

He might need some blood pressure medication. I picture a guy with a thesaurus out, his face turning progressively deeper purple with each angry, fist-pounding keystroke. But I could be wrong.

He's nothing compared to some of the commentators:

quote:

Then you obviously don't know Texas A & M, probably the most aggravatingly charming place you will ever go. We don't win much and we know that...but we win big. The last time I checked, we were the only team to beat Bama last year....and we came up short this year. Aggies never lose, they are just outscored and it's been like that for years. Right now, its' a standoff between us and Bama and I relish the rematch again and again. Get used to it because Aggies are like the guys that "whistle a tune" on the labor lines in Hell...and can see a victory in anything.

Uh, what???

quote:

Alabama is lucky they won that game! They know it, we know it and YOU know it!! Don't be such haters!!

Alabama is the ultimate bully of college football, delighting in pushing and trampling over intimidated opponents. Saban's guys are used to having it easy. They're used to sapping the will out of foes with the force of their reputation and the overwhelming depth of their talent. They usually have no cause to trash talk. Everything's always going their way.

Is it any wonder that when it's not — when Alabama finds a Johnny Manziel that refuses to bow down — the Tide players melt down?

About that defense....

Yeah, that's just weird. He must be really, really mad about something, because nobody has ever accused a Saban team of behaving like that, not at Bama and not at LSU.

Did this guy WATCH the game? They were down 21 going into the fourth quarter and if we don;t fumble at their one they don't get as close as they did.

Great effort by Mike Evans..without THAT guy they get blown out and blown out badly. You have to credit Manziel for that too because we went to press single coverage to keep him under control and when we lost Belue it got tough.

Here is what I say to the idiot that wrote this article. Alabama took your best shot. Spotted you 14 at your place in the biggest game ever played there with your crowd in a frenzy and ran off 35 straight in response.

Then weathered the best shot your greatest player ever could muster and beat you.

Sunshine pumping on your part doesn't change the fact that you were not good enough.

Only one QB threw two critical interceptions and likely knocked his team out of the SEC West race.

Used to be that anything less than a blowout would hurt a team with nc aspirations, but that isn't the case anymore. A "w" is all that counts now. aTm didn't fall that far, but moral victories still don't count. I live in the DFW metroplex, and everytime I read a quote from Gary Patterson, I have to go back and check the score to make sure that we won the game.

Everyone knows that Houston is the douchebag capital of Texas, right? That alone should've given you a hint as to the value of this article.
