Particularly..the Warren Easton boys..and the Karr boys.

Worried about the '15 Warren Easton crew..this was their first real college football game. Worried they go off of emotion and pull the trigger (Tyron Johnson).

Who all made it? It was unclear to me from the other post whether any or all of the Louisiana kids actually showed up. Even with Manziel leaving, the system Sumlin has in place has to be attractive to the wideout recruits.

Than he had to be embarrassed for that D. No way Big G and Tony are dumb enough to go to a school that won't prepare them for the NFL. LSU on the other hand, is both DLineU and DBU.

For comparison:

Since 2005, LSU has had 8 D-lineman drafted in the top 3 rounds. TAMU has had 1.

Since 2005, LSU has had 8 DBs drafted in the top 3 rounds. TAMU has had 0.

Like I said, Tony and Gerald aren't stupid enough to go to a school that has a dumpsterfire for a defense.

Could they not look at the situation as, "wow, I could play freshman year, make a difference, and not have to worry about the offense not scoring enough"? I see the same thing for Noil. He may really want to go to A&M, but he may not get very much playing time for his first year or two. On the other hand, LSU is losing a couple good receivers and Noil could go in and make a difference for the offense.
Just how I tend to look at it, and hope they look at it too

Gerald would see immediate playing time at LSU, as would Speedy. Also, y'all are losing Manziel, which will have HUGE implications for next year. I'm just saying that if Speedy and Gerald are serious about getting to the league and getting drafted high, than LSU is the best option. And Speedy would probably start first year, or at least play a ton in the slot.

I see your point with Willis, but Speedy and A&Ms offense are a perfect fit, I think a pretty easy argument can be made that Sumlin's offense would provide him with the best ability to showcase his skills

Tony Brown probably thinks he could start for Bama next year. He would sit a year at LSU, but would play next year for Bama.

Actually, Oregon is the perfect fit for Speedy. He would be fricking unstoppable at Oregon. LSU has Odell, who's almost a prototype version of Speedy. Y'all's offense is sick though and that's what has me worried. Good thing y'all lost though.

Bama's track program is shite though, and Tony is more concerned with track than anything else. Except for his family. LSU has both and DBU. I expect Tony to commit soon.

With that being said, I think we all saw how mediocre aTm was with Manziels backup against Rice

Matt Joeckel, a fourth year junior who started as a safe game manager but will never really start, was 14-18 for 179 yards in the first half against rice. Kenny hill, next year's likely starter, dropped a perfect 42 yard fade on his first play. He could throw for 400 yards a game right now. And then there is the number one qb in the country committed for 2014. Qb play will be outstanding for years to come.

Lsu and a&m are both good programs. Terry price is an outstanding d line coach as any auburn fan can tell you. Both programs have very good s&c programs. Speedy and gerald will be fine either way. If they are good enough for the nfl they will make it. There are plenty of garbage programs that destroy talent but neither a&m or lsu fits that category. It is dumb for anybody to say where they should go. They should go where they feel comfortable and where they think they will be happy.
