Saw this post on burntorangenation.com this morning and it brought a smile to my face. I enjoy watching the meltdown of the Longhorn Nation! Something about it seems so deserving.

quote:

Saban runs that defense
No offense but Kirby is a puppet not a genius. Nick Saban is the DC at Bama, which makes me question smarts ability to be a leader or HC…… Maybe I’m wrong. Texas should’ve joined the SEC when they could’ve now we are left in the dark

The slow bleed out!!

to all my SEC brethren. May the force be with you!!

So will Texas wait til the end of the regular season or after Bama plays in the Chicken bowl to announce that Saban is their new coach?

Buddy he's not leaving Bama until he retires. I know you dream of it every night but its not going to happen. He's built too large of an empire to walk away and start over. Money won't be an issue because Bama will give him whatever he wants.

Texas has more money than Bama so he's gone.

True but unless they are willing to pay an ungodly amount of money that Alabama won't, he stays. So unless they're willing to pay around 20 million a year to keep him (which they could but won't) they won't outbid Alabama. Bama's pockets are deep too partner!!

It's too bad my kids are too old that I can't go to the YMCA soccer games with all the assholes in their longhorn chairs and shirts and rub their nose in it.

Better to keep your mouth (and keyboard) quiet and be thought a swampwater drinking fool than to open it (or fire it up) and remove all doubt.
Just stop.

Personally I hope UT goes 7-5, keeps mac brown, and continues embarrassing all the espn "experts" who tell us in preseason that this is the year that UT will win the big12 and compete for a national championship.

I also hope FSU's QB wins the heisman, as that will make him the 3rd consecutive heisman winner Mac Brown refused to recruit as a quarterback. There are no tears more delicious than longhorn tears.

A little thing like that would stop Saban from coming home to LSU, his first love.
