Fans (AKA retards) are already flooding Facebook, Twitter, and other boards with the usual "OH GOD WE SUCK FIRE BUTCH FML"

As the best fans UT has to offer, I would hope that we of the SECRant would not stoop to their level of stupidity.

I'm not blaming Butch for this. I wasn't a big fan of the game plan today but this is the absolute worst matchup on our schedule, like I've said before.

Gameplan was weak, but ridiculous that our fans are wanting him fired

I said it all week. UT defense is still years away and I wish there was a way to skip this game. And that's exactly what Oregon does, dropping 60 on mediocre or sub-par defenses.

It is a game, not a season. Panic button needed at this time. [OFF]

There should certainly be a minimum IQ test to use social media.

I was definitely hoping for a better performance. Not happy, but I'm still behind Butch for now.

I don't know how people didn't see a potential arse beating. Better football ahead, but there will be a couple more arse beatings this year. I just hope the players progress rather than regress throughout the year.

OT: that gameplan might have been weak, but there isn't much you can do when your QB/WR can't complete a goddamn pass.

I was at the game.
I've been hard on Worley, but notice he's not as bad as I though (still not very good). On almost every pass play. Oregon had great coverage on our WR. 2 of the 3 WR were in double coverage and the other wasn't open either. I'm impressed he didn't force a throw and get picked off. I'm sure it looked like he was holding the ball too long on tv, but there literally were zero open receivers.

The slot guy is one of the keys to Butch's offense and pretty much all of our slot guys couldn't play

Yeah, I could tell on tv that was the case. That's why I included the WR in my previous post. Not all of it falls on Worley, and I don't understand why the WRs can't get separation. When they do, it's either an off target pass or dropped by the WR. It's a bad combo all the way around.

Yeah Oregon was not pretty but the loss was not unexpected and you have to think if they got ahead they were going to run up the score. Tomorrow is another day.

This weekend will decide if we go to a bowl or in up in 4-5 win territory.....we don't have to win but we have to keep it competitive through the 3rd quarter

This season is a throw away IMO, Butch was dealt a bad hand. Like Dooley (big mistake) I will give him 3 years, one more if there is a lot of improvement.

Don't get me wrong I want and hope for UT to win every weekend, but the last few years have tempered my expectations.

Only 3 Vol losses this season would make me hit the panic button. Two of them have already been played and the last is September 28th. Not hitting the panic button for Oregon or any SEC team that gets 8 or more wins this season. As long as the Missouri, Auburn, Vanderbilt, and Kentucky games are at least close with some wins that will reach my expectations for this season. Anything after that is just gravy.

Losing to Kentucky would be cause to hit the panic button. Multiple times.

panic is for those that are about to fall, there is no panic when you are already at the bottom.
