Pollack basically just admitted that there were payments made to players while he was at UGA. He said he "saw it first-hand." If the AD is driving around drunk with panties in his hand, I would imagine that payments to players is not out of the question.

Ohhhh nooo some agent gave money to a player. You soooooo stupid. They aren't going to punish Alabama for that. They punished USC for Reggie like they punished Al Capone for tax evasion. USC was a dirty program using Hollywood celebs to whine and dine and influence players/recruits and Pete Carrol and The University ran a permeable program. Sorry to break your poor lil heart.

Powerful people with money will always try to use the money for influence.
You can't keep rich boosters from trying to help their programs. Money cannot be legislated out of football.

Honestly, it is weird how they keep harping on the OSU (non)story. No one cares about it.
As far as the Fluker stuff, i am not worried about that at all. Apparently we are in the clear.

Yeah.. Herbstreit is on camera because he looks good on camera not because he has great insight into CFB.

I think one of the things that NS did was establish guidelines that these boosters were not allowed in the locker rooms and not allowed on the team busses and team charters. I think he has a history of running it clean and I am pretty sure our compliance is A Plus. As long as no lack of institutional control then I think we get nothing more then a wrist slap.
