Alabama Officially Getting a New $30 Million Baseball Stadium

Today Alabama's board of trustees approved financing on the proposed new baseball stadium. A few times in the past, we had been teased with proposals only to have funding shot down. However, today the dream of demolishing Sewell-Thomas Stadium and starting over has become a reality 
We're finally joining the SEC baseball arms race, and I couldn't be more excited. I'm sure a few other Alabama fans on here feel the same... It's good for the SEC as a whole too, the league gets rid of one of the worst facilities and replaces it with a first-class one

This is more meant for SEC fans who love baseball. The SEC is the premier baseball conference because of the money and attention given to it, and new facilities like this only add to that. Besides, I already got crickets when I posted this on the Alabama board
