Does the Clemson loss come back and bite us in the tuckus if Oregon/Stanford and Ohio State are undefeated when it comes down to the final BCS standings?

UGA SOS > Clemson SOS
I would think the BCS would favor us over them.

It damn sure wouldn't help us. It would be hard to leave a one loss SEC champ out of the BCS game but knowing our luck that's exactly what would happen. If Oregon wins out then they deserve to be there but I am a lot less sure about OSU; they just don't look that good to me.

It wouldn't matter who we lose to, if 2 of those 3 teams are undefeated we're outside. And to be honest, even if we went undefeated, it's no guarantee we'd make it. The coach's would be hesitant to jump us over OSU and stan/OU since those teams started the year ranked ahead of us, and you know the country is sick of the SEC. Our only hope then would be for the computers to love the shite out of us and bump our BCS ranking up.
But as it is, I doubt we go with 1 loss over those 2 undefeateds unless the media makes a major push for us and we jump 1 of them in the polls.

One loss SEC will get in before an undefeated OSU. Believe that.

I don't know man, it's tough. If there are 2 undefeated teams from major conferences, I just don't see us going. The above scenario has never happened during the SEC's 7 year run either.
It happened to us in 2002 though.

I don't think we make it. Honestly, I think the above point that everyone is sick of the SEC could be very valid, and maybe this could be the year for coaches to stick it to the SEC simply due to jealousy of previous success.

Agreed...I could see any combo of undefeated Oregon/Stanford, OSU, Clemson/FSU or maybe an OU if they win out beating a 1 loss UGA out....
My one caveat is if we beat a undefeated #1 Bama in the SECCG that might boost us to #2...

Undefeated OSU would be in. No way a team with 24 straight wins would be left out.

LSU wouldn't fit because if they were undefeated that would mean we would have lost to them. Even if we did meet and beat them in the SECCG, then we would have two losses making it irrelevant.

Yes. Any two of those teams going undefeated would keep Georgia out of the Natty. I think the team you should be watching, though, is Michigan. Right now, they look better than Ohio State. I think they will beat Ohio State, if no one else does. Hope for a Michigan loss, and then for Michigan to beat Ohio State. Then, the other situation will take care of itself when they play each other. The ONLY other thing you would need to worry about is Louisville. The play a VERY weak schedule and could go undefeated. Normally, a one loss SEC team goes to the Natty over Louisville and a weak schedule...but the media would love to keep the SEC out of the Natty.

The media has a serious stiffie for Corch Maya. Sadly, I think Yahoo Sports' expose from yesterday could hurt the SEC in general in human polls.

Think so. OSU has a weak arse schedule...computers don't like that.

Who will they have beaten though? The SEC has won 7 straight national titles. That should and does carry clout with voters. A one loss SEC team that has beaten 3 top ten teams will play the national title no matter what.

An undefeated OSU, Michigan, or Oregon gets in over us. Not Louisville. OSU and Michigan will most likely play twice, and Stanford has Oregon's #. Louisville is out if its 1 loss SEC and and another undefeated, and they should be.
What would be great is if Todd Gurley mounts a very serious Heisman campaign. Don't discount the impact that could have on voters.
