Inquiring minds want to know your confidence level. You're giving 21.5 to SOMISS. TIA

I would say yes. We get Trey Flowers, Lake, Peters and Gaines on D all back this weekend.

Also should have Austin Tate back next week.

i really think we do.

it looks like we potentially have some guys back on d from injuries.

but what do i know, i thought we were going to slaughter samford too.

It is just another practice game. We did nothing but running plays in the fourth quarter against Samford. They will probably keep working on the running game. I wouldn't look for a blowout.

We can.. but I don't know if the coaches will decide to.

Our largest margin of victory on the season is only 21 points.

Chances are though this will be more like a tuneup for the Rutgers game.

The good running game is whats scaring me. But Southern Miss seems pretty terrible, so I think I might go with Hawgs

Thanks for the replies gentleman

Well it's a home game this week, so I expect us to play well.

Stay away from it.

Although they're worse than the first two opponents, Bielema scares me covering spreads against weak teams going forward.

Even though they almost humiliated us in LR last week, We had a chance to score again in the 4th but Bielema openly stated he decided not to. That's a spread busting coach right there. He didn't want to pile on even though we were only up 10. Spread was 32 but you catch my drift.

here's some stats pulled from another thread

Southern miss:
1-7 ATS in the last 8.
1-10-1 last 12 on field turf
1-12-1 ATS following a loss of 20 or more.

Arkansas:
5-1 ATS against teams with a losing road record
19-7 SU Last 26 at home

9 out of the last 10 southern miss games have gone over the total.
12 out of the last 14razorback games have gone over against teams with a losing record.
11 out of 15 have gone over following at ATS LOSS on the over.

They need to keep running it. They got plenty of passing game practice with the previous staff. Hopefully Nate Holmes will get more carries this game.

I think that had to do with his not wanting to play in Little Rock and he was like 'whatever'.

With the players coming back and Southern Mississippi not playing well, if they are gonna cover it will be this week. They should be a 10 point favorite with Rutgers and that is one game I would not touch.

I'd take Arkansas by 10 all day over Rutgers.

This line I wouldn't touch as it's a complete crap shoot over whether our coaching staff feels like covering.

especially in playing at home, that is a dangerous game that I would not touch.
