Chavis deserved a raise for that game alone. He made quick adjustments.

I re-watched that LSU/Texas A&M game recently. It was amazing how spread out the LSU Defensive line lined up on each play. It took a lot of east-west speed to contain him, and it looked like the ends tried to stay in front of A&M rather than pass rush around the tackles like usual to keep Manziel from slipping under them.

Last year it was - We tired them out for you guys

Very impressive. The seasoned veteran was held to 17 points in his first career game.
