I thought he was barred from college sporting events for life... or maybe that's just Alabama.

Barkley had it right when he said Updykes punishment should be he has to go to jail during every Alabama football game for the rest of his life... sit in a cell with no TV/radio/etc.

He's watching the game in Austin, but he could still drive through college station and poison the century tree.

Hopefully fans don't go up to him and try to get their picture taken with him like he is a celebrity. But it will happen.

We just want to be prepared, win (balls in your face) or lose (prized vegetation destroyed).

Come to think of it, the balls in your face may be welcomed in College Station.

Need to rethink this.

I'm going to start talking about the Century Tree in the past tense.

The Century Tree was a beautiful tree on campus where students would propose to their fiancée under its foliage.

The Century Tree was one of the only trees in America with a scholarship named in its honor.

Hopefully the Corps or campus security will handle this but I'd be down to guard it for a couple of hours.
