Say what you want about the Vols - and you do - no one can deny that we play the toughest OOC schedule year-in and year-out. It the last 14 years, we have had home-and-home series against Notre Dame, Miami, Notre Dame again, Cal, UCLA and Oregon. In the next few years, we have home-and-homes scheduled with Oklahoma and Nebraska.

You can't say the same for the Vol's ooc opponents.

Awesome. I hope that makes you feel better being a fan of a losing team.

Did you say last 14 years on purpose?

Cause 15 years ago was 1998.

you can find individual seasons, where other teams have played tougher OOC match ups. But the Vols are definitely near the top in terms of year in, year out quality scheduling.

Considering your record in that stretch maybe yall should stick with the Austin Peays of the world. May wanna avoid Wyoming, though.

I do give UT credit. That is a pretty good slate of home and homes.

LSU usually plays some good OOC games, but they are starting to all be at nuetral sites.

You have no choice, you need the exposure for recruiting.

The thing I like about Tennessee's OOC scheduling is how they are booking great home and home packages. Having that run-down of teams on campus is great, and I worry that too many neutral site games takes away some of the beauty of college football.

Difference is Oregon is seen as wanting to improve their team, their brand where as it just looks like the vols are gluttons for punishment

I'm all for teams doing this; OSU has played Texas Tech, Cinci, Washington, Texas, USC, Miami Cal (they suck now). Have future ones set up with Va Tech, Oklahoma, Texas and Oregon
