"Very frustrating," the star defensive end told reporters. "I told the coaches you got to put me somewhere else -- in the middle if you want to -- somewhere I can make some plays [to] help my team get in position to win. But [Georgia] took me right out of the game."

Herp. Does he really not think teams are going to key in on him no matter where he is on the field? I like to watch the kid play, but suck it up son.

Wasn't he making big plays in the position he's playing now?

What a whiny arse little bitch. How bout make plays from the position you actually play? I like how the excuse now is going to be he's not productive because he's not playing in the best spot

This is what too much hype does to an athlete. Makes it all about them.

Maybe I wasn't looking at him all the time...but I didn't notice us doing anything special to him. He took himself out of several plays by charging inside and we went outside...but that's just the luck of the draw. He is just not playing as dominatingly as he did last year. Call it what you want...defensive scheme, lack of conditioning, complacency on his part....who knows.

Is Jay-Z still Clowney's agent?

I think NFL left tackles will eat him alive. He couldn't handle UGA's second string LT. and UGA's o-line isn't that good.

No he hasn't.

The media built him up over one play.

He didn't do shite in the offseason besides say Murray was scared of him.

He has a ways to go before he reaches JFF level.

I like him a lot. It's not his fault espn made him out to be some god. He just got out into a lot of pressure to perform.

I noticed him doing this a lot. He looked to be going for the big play (sacking Murray) instead of staying with his assignment.

Yes, yes he has. Anytime a player feels the need to call out his coaches in the media has hit douche nozzle status. Stop knighting for the kid. He should just stfu and get to work and not try to salvage his draft status.

eta: don't worry I still think he is a boss in football.
