So, I honestly thought we would have to throw more than we did on Saturday and I am pleasantly surprised and happy to be wrong. I know there were a few on here that were confident we would lean on a heavy run, even in the first game. I do think we will open the passing game up a little more against stouter defenses, but we will be able to run the ball better than most(mainly people outside the program) would have imagined. I just wanted to take a break from not giving a frick on the GSD to talk football.

They sucked in coverage for sure, but I thought they tackled well for the most part. I like Austin Jones and I believe he can be a serviceable linebacker, but he needs to get off blocks. He was manhandled a few plays and that is concerning.

Even Trey Flowers got blown up on that TD run. He was in a weird position, and I believe he was already airborne, but Harris took him into the endzone as well.

Bielema said straight up that the offense they ran for that game was a "run until they force you to throw" offense so they wouldn't give too much away

Yeah we just ran to the right over and over and over again. You almost had to feel sorry for the guys they were teeing off on over there.

No, Cowan is going to be back for A&M possibly Rutgers.
His 6-8 timetable for return was moved up to 4 weeks a couple weeks ago, he's healing quick.
