just curious, because I believe he's beat every other Elite SEC Coach with a good record in the SEC....

.......but out of all those Coaches, it seems he's had Richt tied to the whipping post the most....

Just food for thought, even though some don't want to call Miles elite, his record most certainly is....

You have to feel bad for Carolina.

Two wins against LSU in 83 years and those two wins were by a single point.

That said, I don't think Spurrier needs to feel bad about anything. He used to rape LSU annually.

He has yet to beat Coach Brett Beilema. So the answer to your question is no.

And he will never have the chance considering that it is unlikely Beilema lasts more than 3 years at Arky

He will have the chance this year. If you can even call it that.

If you define elite as top 3 current coaches in the SEC by winning percentage (minimum 3 years in the league), then I think Miles would qualify.

If you say elite is defined as 3 national titles or more, then I guess only Bryant and Saban qualify.

All depends on how high a bar you want to set.

Miles and Saban are the only current SEC coaches (3 years or more in SEC) with a winning percentage greater than .800 at their respective schools.
