The neighbor says arkie will have new uniforms next year. Supposedly they will be traditional looking. He says bulimia is pals with some Nike higher up.

getting there with elimination of anthracite and coloring changes this year. hopefully getting rid of shoulder lightning bolts next year which will make them pretty close just modernized a bit

Supposed to be getting new ones next year. Hopefully it's a completely new design and not just making some modifications like we did this year. Even though the modifications that we made are definitely an improvement.

He was however he addressed the uniform situation during the spring. He said the he prefers a more traditional uniform with possibly a once a year alternate. He wanted to switch this year but we had one year left with Nike on our contract for the current uniforms. Therefore we will get a new, more conservative look next season.

Since Nike claimed to have spent like 6 months on the others ( 
) we had to stick with them Until next year. I suspect really plain but awesome ones will accompany our run through the SEC and playoffs in '14.

Those uniforms were perfect. Arkansas went through several changes from 1999-2005 before they finally got it right in 2006.

We started changing uniforms up when we joined the SEC in '92. Why they went away from what we wore from the 50's to the 90's is beyond me but you obviously had a good thing when everyone thinks the best uniforms you had in the last 20 years were the throwbacks to those old uniforms and not any of the other things that you've tried in the last two decades.

This is the last year for the new Nike uniforms. I'm sure we will be going back to a more traditional look next year with an alternate uniform for a game or two. I also think we will keep a white helmet for the road and I like that look.

i don't consider Arkansas a very tradition rich program. just keep changing uniform. THAT's your tradition
