Good...he had time to pull up and not lay the WR out.

Good thing he didn't sell a bunch of crap. They would have added an additional 15 to 20 seconds to his suspension.

If anything, it just looks like a late hit to me. I guess he is the scape goat by the NCAA since they could not find Johnny's $$$.

I agree with it.

1. He leaned forward and sprung at the upper chest/head of the WR. Everett didn't even act like he was trying to wrap up, he was simply going for the KO. IF he would have made a fundamentally sound tackle there would have been no problem, but he turned his body into a missile.

2. He wasn't even playing the ball. If the WR had caught the ball or was in the process of catching the ball I could see an argument being made that Everett was trying to pop the ball loose. But the ball got tipped in the air away from the WR, the WR then took three steps without the ball and then Everett went for the KO.

Yeah, that didn't warrant a suspension.

At worst a late hit. Doesn't warrant a suspension.

In the chest, not sure why he was suspended.

Looked as if the offensive player had time to react and protect himself.
