He took his squad to death valley, and kept it reasonably close against a more talented team.

It will be interesting to see how they play against the flagship of south carolina next weekend. Are they scared, probably a little. Are they going to be out talented, yes. But I think richt has the goods to make sure they're competitive. I predict a similar outcome.

34 - 27 game cocks

Umm, Georgia's offense is way more talented than USCe. Granted they lost a stud receiver this weekend, but they still have a much better QB and RB. Hell, UGA's backup RB is probably better than USC's. I know their Defense sucks buy they will put up points on anyone. Long story short...Gurley is for real.

All the strange OP's opinion aside, I agree with the title. I applaud the Bulldogs for opening with a tough opponent.

Thanks. Hey. It is what it is. We came up short and Clemson beat us. Wish it had been different, but....

I'm not saying Connor Shaw or Dylan Thompson is better than Murray but I wouldn't trade QBs. Our RBs aren't slouches Mike Davis and Brandon Wilds are pretty good but yes Gurley is better but ours don't suck or anything.

I agree. I was very impressed with your running backs. You have a stronger offens ethan I expected. Your QBs fit your system well...that's what Spurrier does, isn't it? You have a very impressive team, and will have a MUCH better year than I thought you would.
