I know he looked awesome in comparison to what they usually get out of their QBs, but that doesn't change the fact that he was pretty inconsistent last night.

He looked pretty demon impressive last night. That TCU DB with the dreads made 2 big time end zone plays. Mett didn't make any stupid mistakes, threw it away instead of trying to force it.

Arky's QB. We know they are a pipeline for NFL QBs.

Wow. An actual intelligent response from an Auburn fan. Impressive.

I'll take Bro Wallace over Mett in a spread offense any day of the week.

Brandon Allen looked better than McCarron and Murray yesterday.

McCarron? really? 10/23 110 yards 1TD 1 INT? Don't get me wrong. I think McCarron is a good QB...but you think he looks good so far?

Do Alabama fans think his first game was a good one?

I think Manziel gave more bang for the buck. Granted, he had a cupcake team to go against, but 3 TD would make anybody look good. (And I REALLY don't care for Manziel...mainly for his attitude)

26 of 38 for 318 yards, 3 TDs, no INTs, 44 yards rushing on 6 carries.

Not a bad day.

Mett plays a solid game and LSU is all over his nuts.

He did it against one of the better defenses faced this past week. They have reason to be optimistic. Hey...I've been a big critic of Mett....but give him his due. He did well against a VERY good defense.

WRs had a lot of dropped balls, that's the big reason Metts completion % was down. If you watched the game, he was very accurate.
