I doubted the LSU passing game coming into this season but today the offense looked much more unpredictable and better all around. It seemed like Mettenberger was going through his reads and was throwing darts. He was particularly good on 3rd down.

Landry is fun to watch, even as a Bama fan. He makes everything look easy.

I know csb

Mett really looked good. Landry and ODB are both studs. And, I was impressed with Blue and Magee.

Mett found his reliable target, in Landry. Get used to the connect!

You can't blame everyone for doubting the offense though. For the past 5 or so years the offense has been pretty terrible.

It was a nice display of our capability vs a team known for defense.

Landry is a beast! I really feel like this is going to be a special year in the SEC.

Sure. Our WRs had some drops too. I think I saw drops in every game I watched today.

I'm not bashing Mett. Don't care either way about him. Just pointing out the crazy part of being fans.

I'm being told in one thread that our O sucks still but the stats don't agree. Either way, happy that LSU won. Congrats.

LSU is a big receiver and a consistent QB away from being a really good offense

ODB and one of our TEs had key drops that would've made the score a lot more lopsided. Other than the Blue fumble, we had a solid performance tonight.

Mett made 3-4 bad throws all night long.

Yeah Mett has shown improvement. I still wanna see a little more, but he's started off with a great game. Surprised by Magee doing better than Blue.

About 5-6 of the incomplete passes were intenional as well. A few throw aways on busted screens and out of he endzone when the plays broke down, so they were actually good decisions. He hit his targets in the hands most of the game. Just seemed as if his overall awareness of what was going on around him improved. Looking forward to another SEC season!

So happy other fans recognize this. He was the best SEC QB this week because he did it when it counted and kept it going all game. I really hope it will continue.
