Meh, he seems different. Kiffin lucked out into jobs despite losing. He has at least won.

Except Kingsbury isn't an idiot and sleeps with 7 different girls every week.

Kiffin won a lot as a coordinator at USC. He was just like Kingsbury at that time. Young, cocky and a lot of good experience. The verdict is still out on Kingsbury. He just won his first game as a HC, but he looked kind of like a d-bag on the sidelines. Very Kiffin-esque.

Everybody said that Kiffin was a good coach too when he was a coordinator at USC and they were winning. Just sayin.

All the Lane Kiffin starter kits I've seen include a talented daddy (batteries not included) and a train ticket out of town, so...

Kliff Kingsbury is the spitting image of Merlin. Amazing arse O-Coordinator but picks up a coaching gig due to desire of resurrecting a perennial suck job of a program.

Texas Tech is his alma mater. That's the main reason he's there.

I realize that. Still. He should know better than to try and get something started there. They'll never be a great program.

He doesn't care, though. He was one of (if not THE) greatest QB's in his school's history, and is revered in Lubbock. He had no choice but to jump at the opportunity, IMO.

Leach had a fighting chance to get something started there. Hell, if he'd stayed instead of being whinebitched out by Craig James' twat of a kid (apple from tree), we might have have taken a successful TT program rather than the Aggies.

He was an OC for all of 1 year and had a Heisman Trophy winner at the helm. I just don't know how you can say he is this amazing coach with such a small sample of work. He may be the greatest coach in the world, but he still gives me a Kiffin vibe. Kiffin was everybody's wunderkind at one point too, but he moved into a position that he wasn't ready for, and it hasn't worked out well. I'm just going to go out on a limb and say that I see a meltdown on the horizon.

I really hope I'm wrong.

It really is amazing that he already has a head coaching gig, at a BCS school to boot. He was the qb at TT in what, 2004?
