...is like old school Sportscenter. It's great and his run through for the SEC games were really entertaining.

Definitely surprised considering how much of a douche he was at NBC. Watch his show so he doesn't get cancelled for a Pollack-Millen special.

He's much better at keeping his politics on the back burner than y'all are.

I'll never know because I'll never watch it. Total dewsh at MSNBC, from the clips I've seen. I never watched that show live either.

I don't think I'm a big enough man to distinguish between his political leanings and his sports commentary just yet.

Way too fresh IMO.

^This

I'm not sure I could watch the guy even for sports after watching his political shows. If you don't agree with his views he resorts to name calling and making fun of people. He'd actually fit in pretty well on the Rant.

Wow, didn't realize not liking W made you a commie. I guess I should dust off my old copy of Das Kapital.

Anywho, not to worry! W isn't our president and Olberman is on a sports show!

I happen to agree with a lot of his politics and always liked hi sports stuff. No boo yahs no crappy music behind him. Sportscenter before it went to the dump.

I'll have to take your word for it, because I'll never gift him with a single household view/rating/whatever metric is used to measure viewership.

He just seems so angry. Sarcasm only plays well if you're kinda likable in the first place and you always walk a fine line between having fun and just being mean. I don't think he does this too well.

Did you see the 20 minute monologue about the '82 strike/head injury/unfortunate guy from the '81 Giants with the brain tumor? Tried to tie it all to the current NFL concussion settlement.

It was excruciating. We accept you have been in sports journalism a while, Keith -- you don't need to name drop from 1982 to convince us.

Definitely needs to stick to short vignettes around current events, and/or highlights. No need to randomly toss in a mini "30 for 30" segment just to fill time.
