This game seems to be already won. I envision something like 45-0 at halftime.

It would be a MONUMENTAL upset if the Hokies could keep it within 7 touchdowns.

Yep. Alabama goes 0-12, gets shut out in every game.

Nothing of value lost.

sure it's possible.

probably even a higher percentage a bama fans think they could lose Saturday than LSU fans thought the Tigers would lose on 1/9/12 in the Superdome.

Sure, we will have to do a lot more than just show up.

Yeah...

If everybody on the Alabama roster decides to stay in Tuscaloosa. Hell, they could just be migrating towards Atlanta, Georgia and scare the Virginia Tech Hokies shitless into a loss.

I really don't think so. You could probably leave most of the team behind on campus and still dominate.

Seriously? 2009, V-Tech lost by a meager 10 and that Bama team was better than this years. Cept for QB.

Is Logan Thomas still their QB? If so, the answer is:

Didn't Beamer just say this will be the GOAT team ever?

ETA: Also this is a MUCH WORSE Va Tech team.

No. A good 75% thought they would lose, hence the adamant support for Oklahoma State. Less than 1% was willing to admit this. Difference between what you think will happen and what you admit. False bravado isn't just an lsu problem though.

See #webelieve and aggy offseason threads for other examples of false bravado.

I heard, not sure, that they are starting 2 freshmen corners and a freshman LT.. Man, if true, that's gonna be a tough, tough spot for them. Anything can happen, but it'll probably look a lot like Michigan last year.

Anything can happen in any game. There are a TON of variables that could lead to a loss.

Absolutely not though. I honestly only view LSU as a threat this year... and then SECCG if we get there... and if we win THAT, I feel another cakewalk NC.

There's a chance, but it's not a good one unless Bama takes a nosedive this year.
