I know this belongs on the Alabama board but since it's been fairly accurate since 2010 (predicted the 9-3 record in 2010 as well as the 11-1 records in 2011 and 2012), I feel as if this belongs on the SEC Rant. Anyways...my prediction for the 2013 Alabama season is....*drum roll*.........
10-2. Apathy and a weaker offensive line will be the key in Alabama's '13 season. I just don't see this team motivated enough for a threepeat even though the talent is there to do so. Our defense will be awesome but I feel as if we will have a couple of let down games.

While I agree, and think the team will be similar to 2010, I am not sure I see it.
The schedule is just too weak this year for two losses. Only two teams are really a threat with no FL, UGA, or USCe on the schedule. And bama will be up for A&M and LSU.

I hope Bama goes 11-1, losing only to A&M.
The combination of losing to Bama and A&M beating the Tide will drive off a large portion of the LSU fans for a good six months.

I'm not worried about the defensive line. While we lost all three of our starters from the DL last year, Saban loves to rotate them in and out of the game at frequent intervals. The players we have stepping up are just as talented as the players from last season. Perhaps more so.

I am not going to dig through hundreds of pages just to prove to you that I am pretty good at predicting these things. 1) Because I don't care all that much and 2) I'm hitting the pillow in 10 minutes.

They are, we'll have 2-3 freshmen in that rotation too more than likely. That's what I want to see about.

Wouldn't be the preseason without LSU fans predicting 2-3 losses for Alabama.

alabama's offensive line last season was one of the best in recent years. Just because it's not going to be "best in recent years" doesnt mean it's still not going to be pretty good. IMO they will continue to be a top 3 unit in the SEC as long as Saban is there.
