Apathy has finally set in at the University of Arkansas

We go from embracing BCS bowls and Championships to embracing last place finishes in the SEC West. They fire the speech writing scape goat for Long and now the heat which was on Alabama and LSU for a couple of years is gone.
Lack of excitement and interest within the program itself and with Long losing the LSU thanksgiving game, I hate to say it but Arkansas is now an also ran from the SEC West in the status of a MSU and right below Ole Miss. I am sure LSU and Alabama feel better about their secured spot and they should be. They will have it easy for the foreseeable future.

This had nothing to do with losing Petrino - that only hastened it. Admitting TAMU into the SEC was the death knell of Arkansas football.
