That sorry excuse had 18 wins in two seasons for us. As well as two bowl victories. I don't see why there is so much hate for him. He wasn't a bad QB for Ole Miss. If he would have had any type of a line in 2009, he would have been much better. He ran for his life that season. It didn't help that he didn't have a solid QB coach either.

He had 35 interceptions in two seasons. He wasn't a good QB. He was good for 4 games in 08. That was it.
ETA: And we got 9 wins in '09 because of Mccluster and our defense.

Nutt and co. was heavily responsible for that. It was a little bit of Jevan yes, but I think he could have been great with descent coaching

Easy to do when you literally have no one coaching you on any level pertaining to being a QB.
And I'm including the Spirit's hard-on known as Kent Austin. he's a POS too....
