Yeah that's not biased. Alabama and Auburn over Ole Miss and LSU in tailgating.

I think it's kind of funny that this writer ranked Auburn #1 then proceeds to not mention a single thing about the actual tailgating on game day. He sure is mesmerized by extra parking spots though.

The entire game day experience is pleasant. I love the fact the in the second half, you can sit damn near anywhere you want!

Dated an AU alum once, went to AU game, she took wine, cheese, and crackers. It was awesome! I happened to know some other folks who had a RV there, we go over there, they even had beer and a TV.

Haven't been back since. I just can't hang with those folks.

Never understood why people consider Savannah south Georgia. Coastal Georgia is its own thing entirely.

It has some southern tendencies, but in general is overrun by yankee transplants.

Which is why I didn't say the top 5 are interchangeable, key being there are 4 SEC teams in the top 5 of that list.

Really, only The New York Times could describe it so vividly: "It is every kind of party you can describe, at once: cocktail party, dinner party, tailgate picnic party, fraternity and sorority rush, family reunion, political handgrab, gala and networking party-hearty - what might have inspired Willie Morris, one of Mississippi's favorite sons, to declare Mississippi not a state, but a club." The Grove is the opening act to a true Ole Miss tradition, the Walk of Champions.

That USC mention at #2 kinda takes away from the legitimacy of this ranking. But hey, if all it takes are a few hundred rolls of toilet paper to get you into #1, then why not?

I always thought it was funny that when you tailgate in Auburn, it's by a huge building that says "Agriculture."

Aggies have always heard a lot of this crap from Big12 fans, and I never got it. I still don't. What do you communists have against eating?

Yeah I have never understood the stigma/jokes of agricultural schools. As if modern farming/livestock sciences are for the weak minded. It's ok though, they really don't mean it when they're cutting into a juicy rib-eye with a grilled ear of corn on the side after they went shopping and took for granted the abundance of products on grocery store shelves.
