Watching Sportscenter during their college football segment.

Lou Holtz comes on and basically says he doesn't see how a 1-loss SEC can make the championship game if their was to be an unbeaten PAC-12 or BIG 10 team or an undefeated Notre Dame or even a 12-0 Louisville team.

I know the butthurt by the SEC is strong, but haven't we seen enough of the Ohio Sts and Notre Dames get killed to realize they aren't worthy?

He is right. Louisville might not make it in, but an undefeated team from the Pac 12, Big 10, or ND would.

A 12-0 Louisville team that had better be damn impressive all season (and it still may not be enough).

That schedule they have is a joke

Everyone wants to be the guy who predicted the end to the SEC's NC streak.

I'm sure they would make it, but I think we can all agree that the SEC champ would destroy any of those teams.

well when UGA is a 1 loss SEC Champ, we shall see what happens...probably just as he said...cause we are UGA..if Bama or LSU had one loss they would still make it in...oh wait...

If that happens than a 1 loss sec team isn't getting in..

His predictions always pan out...

Well, had Ohio St not been on probation last year, would Bama have gotten shut out?

Sure, they were the reigning champion, but is the BCS supposed to care about that?

He's not wrong, at all. The rest of the CFB world desperately wants to see an undefeated UCLA/Stanford/Oregon vs. Ohio State/Louisville while a far more deserving one-loss SEC club sits at home.

That way the national media can chirp on about how great Oregon or Louisville are, and how they have been the best team in the last eight years or so just cos they supplanted the big, bad SEC. We'll all know differently, of course, just like we all knew that there were at least four, and possibly six, SEC schools that would have prison raped ND last year.

Oh, had that happened, it would have absolutely been Ohio State vs ND. And my statement about 4-6 schools vs. ND holds up against tOSU, as well.

No way a 12-0 Louisville gets in over a 1 loss SEC team. Louisville's schedule is an absolute embarrassment, any top 25 team can go 12-0 with that schedule.

This. There are a lot of teams that would need at least 2 losses for Louisville to get in

Unfortunately he is probably correct, but that doesn't make it "right."

Louisville might be so bad in the computers that a one loss SEC team could jump an undefeated Louisville in the BCS formula, but it would probably be very close.

Undefeated Big 10, Pac 12, Big 12, ACC team would get in over 1 loss SEC team.
