What's going on with Hoza Scott?

I noticed on Rivals that they dropped him all the way to the #22 OLB, and out of the top 250. What going on with him?

I think a chick is leading him down a bad road. Not caring about football, grades, anything. Hope it figures it out fast. Lots of talent.

Has he been dating this chick awhile because I've heard of his issues as far back as 2 years ago and why wouldn't said chick want to piggy back him to the nfl pay day? Sounds bogus, he's old enough to be accountable for himself.

Agreed. LSU rarely recruits players who might not qualify.

You assume we dropped him over grades and I'm not sure why.

So strangely I just got an update from someone who has ties to the Laporte team who says Hoza Scott neglected to keep up with a proper workout schedule this summer, reported out of shape, and when the coaches got on his arse he decided he wasn't going to play anymore. He has since had a change of heart and has decided to continue playing but he will be suspended for the first 3 games of the season.

I wouldn't expect that he'd get labeled "out of shape" unless he hadn't been working out for a significant time period, so did he get back in shape after a week of workouts? What's your point?

Pretty sure I made a post saying he was back on the team....did you miss that? Sorry I don't subscribe to A&M 247.
Also, saying he's back on the team would with most people covers the idea that he's back practicing and working out....have you ever assumed someone would be on a team but NOT practicing or working out with the team if they don't have any injury issues?
