They couldn't have picked a nicer part of town...

That area really isn't bad. Lots of new development over there, calling it The Design District, and shite.
The Gays have spilled over from Cedar Springs into there for at least ten years and really spruced it all up.

Gayborhoods are great like that. Low crime, nice restaurants, no litter...

That would be Oak Lawn. About 5 miles NE of the Design District.

Nah, its not that far. The gayest intersection in Dallas is Cedar Springs and Oak Lawn, and thats maybe 2 miles from there.

I live in Oaklawn. I wasn't aware before I moved from NOLA last year. I just knew that it was nice, close to uptown, and not as expensive.
I like it, but I do feel uncomfortable going to the Kroger on Cedar Springs sometimes though.

I have to traverse that intersection everytime I need to go to the Gay Kroger.
It may be the gayest intersection in the country.

You've never been to the Castro or Chelsea, I take it?

I lived for a short time off Reagan right down the street. Its pretty damn gay. I also lived downtown in the CBD for 18 months before that, and I lived off Greenville afterward. Flew out of Love Field tons, too so I criss crossed all over that area the whole time I was in Dallas.

Yeah, there are much gayer areas in SF and Chicago even.

I've been out of Dallas over five years.
So weird to think there are SEC events taking place there now. Kinda jelly.

I joined an SEC alum social network and there are alums from just about all 14 schools. Have not met anyone from USCe or UK but the other 12 I have.
Lots of Hogs and surprisingly Gators.

Its such a huge metro now that there are fans from everywhere, but we always had lots of Arkansas fans and a few Arkansas bars. I could always find Arkansas fans at Humperdink's on N. Greenville, and back then we had Stadium Cafe in Addison as one of our main watch party bars. I don't know what the Arkansas bars are now.

Im going to the UGA bar over the AU one next weekend in State Thomas...closer and the GF is a UGA grad. (no)
