How confident are you in your backup QB?

If your starter gets injured early in the season. With Mississippi State I actually think they would be better off starting Prescott instead of Russell since Mullen is good with dual threats (Tebow). Thoughts?

I'm confident we would run the ball 127% of the time.

Dylan Thompson has come through for us in some big moments but I wouldn't feel so comfortable if Shaw went down for the season.

If Wallace goes down for an extended period of time, Kincade will play instead of Brunetti. Seeing him in practice and hearing about him studying film for hours every day makes me confident in him.

Anthony Jennings is a true freshman but he's making great strides so far at #2.

We might only win 5 or 6 if we lost our QB

Pretty good with four solid backup QBs. The problem is the lack of a starting QB.

I'm not even confident in our starting QB.

Why?

Tyler Russell is the best passer(QB) in MSU history.(definitely in the last 30 years) Please explain why the backup is a better option...

To answer the question, if Wallace go down the defense will have to win games.

We're in the middle of a 2 QB race with Max Smith and Jalen Whitlow. Either one would work.

Not confident. Considering the following: Showers transferred and will be starting at UTEP. Davis has been told he is out of the QB competition. Joeckel has been around and has a decent arm, but is a statue. Hill has been challenging hard for the #2 spot. Although he is talented, he is still young/ too scary to rely on.
